An undated video clip of Shakira enthusiastically cheering for her son during a football game has surfaced, fueling criticism against her former partner, Gerard Pique, a former football superstar. The video, shared on X, has garnered over four million views, accompanied by the caption, "Imagine your dad being one of the biggest football players ever and still missing your games, while your mom is SHAKIRA and goes to every single one."

Shakira, a Colombian singer, and former FC Barcelona defender Gerard Pique were together since 2011 and share two sons, Milan and Sasha. Milan was born in January 2013, and Sasha followed in January 2015. Their separation was announced in 2022 with a statement that read: "We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the wellbeing of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy."

The couple met shortly before the 2010 World Cup in South Africa when Pique featured in Shakira's music video for the tournament's official song, "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)." The video clip captures the essence of a devoted mother who is always there for her children, in stark contrast to the perceived absence of her ex-partner.
