Sharon Osbourne revealed an explosive tale of exclusion, recounting how she disinvited a avaricious band from her husband Ozzy Osbourne's poignant farewell concert with Black Sabbath. Ahead of the event on Saturday, during an exclusive interview with Billboard, the former "Talk" co-host disclosed that this unnamed ensemble "sought to capitalize on the occasion, but this was no time for such greed." The 72-year-old Sharon further teased, "Post-show, I shall unveil their identity to the world. I believe the revelation will leave many astounded." Attempts by Page Six to procure a comment from Sharon's representative yielded no immediate response.

On that fateful Saturday, Ozzy, 76, performed his swansong with his Black Sabbath comrades, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi, and Bill Ward, at the historic Villa Park Stadium in Birmingham, England—the very birthplace of the band in the late 1960s. The marathon 10-hour concert was a stellar spectacle, featuring performances by Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Jack Black, among others, and was hosted by none other than "Aquaman" star Jason Momoa.

Earlier in February, the legendary rocker announced his impending retirement from the stage with his band, citing his ongoing health struggles. "It is time for me to return to my roots... to give back to the place where it all began," he declared in a heartfelt statement. "How fortunate I am to embark on this journey with the people I cherish. Birmingham, the genuine cradle of metal. Birmingham forever."

In 2020, Ozzy revealed his Parkinson's disease diagnosis. Three years hence, following extensive spinal surgery in 2022, the father of five put his touring days on hold. Fast forward to November 2023, Ozzy confessed that he had "merely 10 years left" to live, his back surgery having left him "nearly incapacitated." He shared with Rolling Stone UK a poignant conversation with Sharon, saying, "How much longer do you expect me to drag on?! At most, I've got a decade ahead, and as you age, time seems to accelerate."

Ozzy, who has an assisted suicide agreement with Sharon, confessed to the outlet that he does not desire "a prolonged, painful, and miserable existence." He added thoughtfully, "The notion appeals to me that for those with terminal illnesses, there exists a place in Switzerland where one can swiftly end their suffering. I witnessed my father perish from cancer."
