As the legendary frontman of Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, often hailed as the Prince of Darkness, neared his final journey, he felt an unyielding readiness that bordered on acceptance. Just weeks before his passing in July, Sharon, his wife of over four decades, shared a poignant account of the final days of their shared life during an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

"He confided in me that he was plagued by dreams in the last week of his life," she recounted, her voice tinged with emotion. "He saw people he had never known before—all sorts of people. He kept walking and walking in these dreams, encountering these strangers night after night. And when he woke up, he was looking at them, and they were looking back. But no one spoke. He knew. He was ready."

Sharon, who had been by Ozzy's side since 1982, also recalled their final evening together with a mix of fondness and regret. "He was up and down to the bathroom all night long," she recalled. "It was 4:30 in the morning when he said, 'Wake up.' I told him I was already awake, and he said, 'Kiss me.' Then he asked for a tight hug. I can't help but wonder if I should have done more—if I could have told him how much I loved him more often or held him tighter."

Ozzy's passing came after a heart attack that left no room for doubt in Sharon's mind. "He had a heart attack," she said simply. "I ran downstairs to find him, and they were trying to resuscitate him. But I knew—I knew instantly that he had gone. They tried and tried, but it was no use. They took him by helicopter to the hospital, but it was like he was already gone. Just leave him."

Ozzy's family released a statement following his passing: "With more sadness than mere words can convey, we must report the passing of our beloved Ozzy Osbourne this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love."

Ozzy's journey was marked by not just his musical legacy but also his battle with Parkinson's Disease, which he was diagnosed with in 2019. His departure left a void that can never be filled, but his music and spirit will continue to resonate through generations to come.
