Sia messy legal battle with ex Dan Bernad takes new turn

The ongoing custody battle between Sia and Dan Bernard has reached a new level of drama, with Bernard's recent appeal for sole custody of their one-year-old son, Somersault "Summi." As the primary caregiver for their little one, Sia finds herself embroiled in a legal battle with her estranged husband, who has made some startling allegations against her, casting doubt on her fitness as a parent.

Bernard, an oncologist by profession, has accused Sia of being an unfit and unreliable parent due to her struggles with substance abuse and addiction. He asserts, "I am a doctor, young, healthy, and have no criminal history or drug or alcohol addiction issues," while alleging that Sia lacks these qualities.

To further complicate matters, Bernard has requested random and regular drug testing for his estranged wife and supervised visits with Summi. However, Sia has hit back, calling his claims an "attempt to weaponize" her and has asserted that she has been sober for six months.

The Los Angeles County judge has now entered the fray, denying Bernard's request for sole custody, citing insufficient evidence in the legal document obtained by Page Six on Wednesday. The judge stated, "The court finds that sufficient exigency for the requested emergency relief has not been shown at this time."

As the drama unfolds, it seems that both parties are determined to fight for their respective rights in this messy custody battle.
