Alexandra Kay remains resolutely on the sidelines of the Keith Urban and Maggie Baugh narrative, keeping her distance from the ongoing speculation surrounding the "Wild Hearts" singer's divorce with Nicole Kidman, his two daughters being Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. In an interview with Taste of Country on October 22, Alexandra firmly stated, "I know that's absolutely not true. Honestly, I was heartbroken for them because the media scrutiny is insane and the things people say... They're stirring up rumors about Maggie Baugh, and I'm thinking, 'She's a good friend of mine.'"

She further elaborated on her friend's status, revealing that Maggie is actually in a relationship with someone else and has "nothing" to do with Keith and Nicole's fallout. "I've met her boyfriend," Alexandra continued. "She's very happy."
Keith's recent actions have only fueled the speculation. Shortly after his separation from the Big Little Lies star—with whom he has been married for 19 years—was confirmed, he changed the lyrics of "The Fighter," a song widely believed to be about his romance with Nicole, during a concert last month. Instead of singing, "When they're tryna get to you, baby I'll be the fighter," Keith crooned in a video shared by Maggie to Instagram on September 27, "When they're tryna get to you, Maggie, I'll be your guitar player."
Maggie gushed in the clip, "Did he just say that?" However, during his High and Alive tour, Keith shut down any deeper meaning behind his recent performances, slamming fans who read too much into his changes in lyrics. "I've been covering like this for a long time," he told the crowd at a Nashville concert on October 17. "Stop reading s--t into it."
