In an official pronouncement issued on Monday, the K-pop giant articulated that the moniker Hearts2Hearts encapsulates the group's aspired mission to "forge an enchanting and picturesque musical realm that resonates with hearts across borders, imbued with sincere emotions and authentic narratives." The company expressed its earnest hope for fans to embrace the octet's diverse allure and boundless potential.

Heralding SM's maiden girl group introduction since aespa's debut in 2020, Hearts2Hearts also signifies a historic milestone as the first girl band from the esteemed label to be cultivated sans the participation of its founder, Lee Soo-man, who relinquished his role as executive producer in March 2023.

Although the veil has yet to be lifted fully on the members' individual profiles, Hearts2Hearts is poised to embark on a comprehensive promotional spree later this month, gearing up for their highly anticipated February debut. Their focus lies in sculpting a distinctive musical identity that sets them apart from their seasoned SM predecessors.
