The Saturday Night Live writer Jimmy Fowlie took to social media with a heartfelt plea for help in locating his missing sister. On Monday, Fowlie posted a desperate missing persons report for his sibling, Christina Lynn Downer, on Instagram, captioned with, "Please share this so that if anyone has seen her, they can give any information to the police."

The post was accompanied by a poignant series of photographs of Christina, each one a window into her vibrant spirit. "My sister has been missing and we are fearful for her safety," he wrote. "Her married name is Downer, but she may also be known as Christina Fowlie."
The text included her phone number - 213 996 1800 - and her case number - 25237639. She was last seen in Los Angeles, and Fowlie concluded his post with a heartfelt plea for help. "Thank you."
Since then, fellow SNL cast members including Chloe Fineman, Bowen Yang, and Sarah Sherman have shared Fowlie's post on their Instagram Stories, spreading the word far and wide.
Fowlie joined the sketch comedy series in 2022 as a writer for season 48 and has continued in that role through the current 51st season. A former member of the L.A.-based improv and sketch comedy group the Groundlings, he has also served as a writer on various shows including Quibi's Your Daily Horoscope (2020), Max's The Other Two (season three), Go-Go Boy Interrupted (seasons one and two), and A Nonsense Christmas Special with Sabrina Carpenter (2024).
In addition to his writing achievements, Fowlie has also appeared in several projects including FX's English Teacher, The Other Two, and The Goldbergs, demonstrating his versatility as an actor as well as a writer. And while his talent shines bright on screen, it is his familial bond that truly shines through in this poignant moment of need.
