The Delgado-Pritchett family may have finally discovered their trusted real estate expert. Enter Sandra Vergara, the younger sibling of Sofía Vergara and the newest recruit to Netflix's hit series "Selling Sunset" for its ninth season. In an interview with Netflix's Tudum, published on July 14th, Sandra expressed her excitement about joining The O Group, stating, "It felt like the perfect match: sleek, vibrant, and brimming with top-tier professionals. I had watched 'Selling Sunset' and marveled at the women's dynamic spirits. But now, being part of the inner circle, the thrill has reached an entirely new dimension."
Indeed, the 36-year-old will join forces with the prestigious Oppenheim Group, alongside returning stars such as Chelsea Lazkani, Chrishell Stause, Emma Hernan, Nicole Young, Brie Tiesi, Alaina Gold, Mary Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith, and the firm's twin owners, Jason and Brett Oppenheim. As with previous seasons, the Los Angeles-based brokerage promises to be a hotbed of intrigue.
According to Tudum, the upcoming season, slated for release later this year, will once again shine a spotlight on the "cutthroat competition in the luxury real estate market" and the challenges faced by "newbie agents who aren't always warmly embraced." Yet, this high-stakes environment doesn't faze Sandra, who, in addition to her real estate career, has also hosted for E! News and People magazine. She is confident in her ability to turn the sale of six-figure homes into an entertaining spectacle.
"I've always had a keen eye for design and a deep affection for people, making real estate the perfect fusion for me," she continued. "Season 9 is poised to deliver some unforeseen twists and turns. Prepare for moments so astonishing, they'll leave you speechless."
This isn't the first time a member of the extended "Modern Family" cast has graced "Selling Sunset." In November 2021, Jesse Tyler Feguson, who portrays Mitchell Pritchett on the ABC series, made a guest appearance at former cast member Christine Quinn's baby shower in Season 4. Following the episode's premiere, the actor addressed the public's confusion about his guest role on X (formerly Twitter). "I just did a quick search of my name on Twitter and couldn't stop laughing at the collective bewilderment," he wrote. "I'm doing great and keeping busy post-'Modern Family,' but thanks for checking in on me!"
