It appears that sparks are flying between Sophie Turner and Chris Martin, with multiple sources confirming that the Game of Thrones alum and Coldplay frontman are dating. According to Us Weekly on November 3, the 29-year-old Sophie and 48-year-old Chris have been privately going on dates for some time now.
Just five months before this new romance was revealed, Chris, who shares kids Apple, 21, and Moses, 19, with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, called it quits with Dakota Johnson after nearly eight years together. The couple, who had reportedly been engaged for years before the split, has yet to publicly address the breakup. However, Dakota recently shed some light on her dating rules, telling the Today show in June that she looks for "just, like, not an a--hole" as her one requirement in a partner.
As for Sophie, the Dark Phoenix star was last linked to British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson in October 2023. Though both parties have remained tight-lipped about their separation, Sophie has previously been candid about juggling her personal life with coparenting her kids Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, alongside ex-husband Joe Jonas, from whom she finalized her divorce in 2024 following five years of marriage. "I think we're doing the best we can," she told British Vogue in 2024. "I'm confident that we can figure it out. Joe is a great father to our children and that's all that I can ask for." And Joe has echoed that sentiment, describing their arrangement as a "beautiful coparenting relationship."
