Sophie Turner Details "Vile" Kiss With Game of Thrones Costar Kit Harington

Sophie Turner might have encountered an experience even more chilling than the harshest winter. Indeed, the former "Game of Thrones" star shared just how bone-chilling it was when Kit Harington, her on-screen adopted brother from the iconic HBO series, was cast as her lover in their upcoming film, "The Dreadful."

"I sent Kit the script," Sophie reminisced during an appearance on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" on August 14. "He messaged back, saying something like, 'Yeah, I'd love to. This is going to be really f***ing bizarre, Soph.'" Even though Sophie, who also served as a producer on the film, had read the script penned by writer and director Natasha Kermani, she had to revisit it to comprehend what Kit was hinting at.

"I was skimming through it, thinking, 'Kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex,'" she exclaimed. "And then it dawned on me, 'Oh no, that's my brother!'" Despite this revelation, both agreed that the script was too compelling to resist and chose to "brush it off their minds," according to the 29-year-old actress.

"Then we arrived on set," Sophie elaborated. "It was our first kissing scene, and we were both gagging. Literally, it was revolting. It was one of the worst—another truly cringe-worthy moments in my career." According to Sophie, who shares daughters Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2, with her ex-husband Joe Jonas, filming that scene with Kit was even more distressing than when she was covered in real rats and cockroaches for her recent film "Trust."

Nonetheless, the duo managed to pull it off, with Sophie adding that Kit was the only person she could envision for the role. Kit is married to their former "GOT" co-star Rose Leslie. Suffice it to say, the pair grew even closer while filming "The Dreadful," where Sophie stars as Anne, a woman leading a harsh, solitary life with her mother-in-law on the outskirts of town. Anne's life takes a turn when Jago (Kit), a man from her past, returns.

However, the former Sansa Stark is unlikely to forget the romantic scenes she shared with Kit anytime soon. "Sorry folks," Sophie told Vogue in July. "It's really weird for all of us."
