Soulja Boy, the renowned rapper behind the smash hit "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" and a pivotal figure in the dawn of social media fame, has recently been mandated to fork out a staggering $4 million following his conviction in a sexual assault and abuse lawsuit. The lawsuit was initiated by a woman pseudonymously titled Jane Doe, who levelled accusations of sexual assault, emotional abuse, and harassment against him spanning their two-year-long relationship.

The jury rendered a verdict holding the rapper accountable for inflicting emotional turmoil, sexual harassment, and withholding wages. Notably, he was acquitted of the allegations pertaining to false imprisonment and unfair dismissal.

The legal proceedings, initiated way back in January 2021, detailed how Jane Doe initially embarked on her journey as Soulja Boy's personal assistant in 2018. What commenced as a strictly professional bond soon blossomed into a romantic entanglement, only to degenerate into a harrowing saga of abuse.

Jane Doe recounted harrowing tales of receiving explicit photographs from the music legend, being confined to a room devoid of food for several days, and enduring multiple assaults. Crucial pieces of evidence in this case comprised photographs documenting her bruises and scars, coupled with menacing text messages, one particularly chilling message reading, "Die bitch. Shoulda killed your stupid ass."
