"Give a warm welcome to Chul-su," the streamer announced along with the teaser. "Squid Game Season 3 is coming in 2025."

The 15-second clip captures three novice players, clad in their numbered tracksuits, venturing into an arena where the towering 'Red Light, Green Light' doll, Young-hee, stands with her back turned. As she turns to face a railway crossing, a boy doll emerges on the other side of the tracks, staring back at her, adding an eerie twist to the already tense scene.

The highly anticipated seven-episode second season of "Squid Game," which premiered on Dec. 26, amassed a staggering 68 million views within its first three days on Netflix. It topped the weekly non-English TV list in 92 countries, making it not only the most-watched series of the week but also the best-performing title overall, according to Netflix.

In Season 2 of "Squid Game," now streaming on Netflix, Lee Jung-jae's character, Seong Gi-hun, returns to the life-or-death game with a mission to dismantle it from within after winning a fortune in Season 1 and spending it to uncover the shadowy organization behind the game.

Even before the premiere of the second season of Netflix's most successful series, the streamer had announced that a third and final season was already in development and set for release in 2025.
