On Friday, the legendary singer Steve Nicks announced with regret that she has been compelled to push back her forthcoming tour engagements spanning the next two months following a shoulder fracture. "As a consequence of a recent mishap leading to a fractured shoulder necessitating substantial recuperation time, all concerts scheduled for Stevie Nicks in August and September will undergo rescheduling," Nicks disclosed in a heartfelt message posted on Instagram. "Kindly be informed that performances in October remain unaffected."
Originally intended to kick off in Brooklyn on August 8th, Nicks' tour will now make its debut on October 1st in Portland, Oregon. Among the many affected dates are those in Detroit, Toronto, Boston, and Tampa, among other esteemed venues. Ticket holders are kindly advised to retain their tickets and refer to the list of rescheduled dates, as tickets for the originally planned performances will retain their validity for the newly arranged dates. "Stevie eagerly anticipates reconnecting with everyone soon and extends her sincere apologies to her fans for any inconvenience caused," the statement conveyed.
This announcement arrives a week after Nicks and her former Fleetwood Mac bandmate Lindsey Buckingham revealed their exciting decision to finally re-release their sole studio album, Buckingham Nicks, in September. Though met with commercial disappointment upon its 1973 release, this album served as a pivotal stepping stone for the duo's involvement with Fleetwood Mac, ultimately catapulting the group to international fame.
