In the whimsical spot titled "We’re All a Lil Sensitive," Wayne takes center stage, playfully poking fun at his snub from performing at his hometown Super Bowl. The commercial is interwoven with the cryptic sequence "6-6-25," flashing across football jerseys and basketball scoreboards alike. As the ad culminates, Wayne politely declines an invitation to the Super Bowl, quipping, "Nah, this is time sensitive." Upon shutting the door to his studio, a sign reads, "Do Not Disturb ’Til 06-06-25," adorned with "Carter VI" scribbled on a strip of duct tape. Piecing these clues together isn't rocket science, and indeed, Wayne has already hinted at "Tha Carter VI's" arrival this year. But seriously, a lotion ad? (And one exclusive to New Orleans, no less?) Speaking to Rolling Stone about the campaign, he said, "This campaign resonated deeply with me. The world saw my disappointment, but what they didn't witness was the fire it ignited within me to deliver something truly monumental." One can only hope that this heralds a grander, more fitting announcement than a mere lotion commercial.
