Sydney Sweeney is embarking on a fresh romantic chapter. The 27-year-old star of "Euphoria" has reportedly started casually dating Scooter Braun, a 44-year-old music manager and executive, according to various sources. The duo sparked whispers of romance in June at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's opulent wedding in Venice, Italy, where they were among the myriad of celebrity guests.
Beyond the wedding revelry, Sydney and Scooter forged a connection, as they were captured enjoying a soiree at Harry's Bar alongside Karlie Kloss and other notables. E! News reached out to their representatives for comment, but as of yet, there has been no response.
Sydney's relationship with Scooter, who is infamous for his very public spat with Taylor Swift, marks her first public romance since parting ways with her fiancé and seven-year partner, Jonathan Davino. For Sydney, her time as a singleton has been pivotal in self-discovery. "I'm learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends," the "White Lotus" actress revealed in a May 31 interview with The Sunday Times. "And I'm loving it."
Similarly, Scooter recently opened up about his 2021 divorce from ex-wife Yael Cohen Braun, with whom he shares children Jagger, 9, Levi, 7, and Hart, 5. "I don't want to go into detail, because I have a lot of respect," Scooter shared on The Diary of a CEO's June 9 episode. "We're family forever. It goes both ways. It wasn't due to one singular event. Both parties play a role in how things unfold. It was a shared journey."
Like Sydney, Scooter admitted that navigating a long-term relationship led him to rediscover his identity. "I also didn't know who I was," Scooter explained. "I was content because the world applauded my successes, and I believed that was sufficient. Looking back, I feel like I was oblivious. I didn't truly know myself at the time, but I achieved so much success at a young age that everyone's praise led me to believe I was on the right path."
Eventually, the former manager of Justin Bieber conceded that he has grown into a better person—a transformation that Sydney could potentially benefit from. "Now, whoever steps into my life next is in for a treat," he remarked, "because I'm a refined version of my former self."
