SZA, Zayn Malik spark collaboration rumours

Published: Aug 13 2025

SZA has ignited a storm of excitement across the internet, with legions of fans flooding social media platforms, eagerly pleading for a long-anticipated collaboration with none other than Zayn Malik. A single comment from the talented artist was all it took to spark this wave of enthusiasm.

Recently, the creator of the hit song "Kill Bill" responded to the former One Direction singer's debut rap track, "Fuchsia Sea," in which Zayn candidly addressed the racism he faced during his boy band days. Upon witnessing SZA's show of support for the "Alienated" singer, fans could hardly contain their excitement, swarming various social media outlets with demands for a collaborative effort.

"WE NEED A COLLAB!" one eager fan exclaimed on Reddit. Another quickly followed suit, praying for a collaboration, declaring it a dream come true. A third added their voice, emphatically stating, "Definitely need a collab!"

A fourth fan, sharing the sentiment of many, gushed, "I agree with the others; I would love to see them collaborate. I can just picture Zayn covering 'Saturn' or 'Snooze!'"

For those uninformed, a screenshot is currently circulating on social media, capturing a comment left by SZA, whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe, beneath a fan-made Instagram video. The "All the Stars" songstress enthusiastically wrote, "Oh he ate!!!" In the screenshot, the video clip is paused on a girl's face with a caption reading, "Zayn's 'cause I worked hard in a white band and they still laughed at the Asian' wasn't on my 2025 bingo card."

This screenshot of SZA's comment began to surface on several social media platforms early on Monday, August 11th, more than a month after Zayn, now 32, thrilled his fans with a teaser of "Fuchsia Sea" via his Instagram.
