"They truly are my favorites," McRae confidently shared with the publication. "No one can match their energy or dedication. They are unparalleled." She continued, her voice filled with warmth, "My entire team is gay! Their insights are the only ones I truly crave when I'm ready to unleash new music into the world. I feel incredibly fortunate to have their perspectives. We strive for excellence, pushing the boundaries of creativity, and their feedback is both brutally honest and invaluable."

McRae affectionately referred to her LGBTQ+ fans as her "number one supporters." "Just as you all stand by me unwaveringly, I am here for you, too," she declared, her words brimming with gratitude. "I am incredibly thankful to have you in my life, surrounding me with love and support."

Elsewhere in the heartfelt conversation, McRae opened the doors to her creative dreams, revealing her aspiration for a collaborative masterpiece. "My dream collaboration would be to pen songs with SZA," the "Greedy" hitmaker revealed, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "She is one of the coolest and most talented songwriters of all time. I admire her immensely." Envisioning their collaboration, she described it as "a mesmerizing blend of pop and R&B."

"I would happily let her take the lead!" McRae enthused. "I am always eager to stretch beyond my comfort zone. Repetition bores me. As an artist, I thrive on the thrill of pushing myself to new limits and occasionally shocking myself with my creativity."

Recently, the talented performer behind "She's All I Wanna Be" released her third studio album, titled So Close to What, on February 21st. The LP includes "I Know Love," a heartfelt collaboration with McRae's beloved boyfriend, The Kid LAROI. Speaking at a Spotify event, she shared the unique challenges and joys of working with a romantic partner, especially in a creative capacity.

"It was such a hilarious process because Laroi and I have never taken each other seriously in our personal moments," McRae chuckled. "When you're in a relationship and sing casually around each other, it doesn't quite feel the same. So, being in the studio, singing and writing in front of him, was a bit stressful. But, it was an incredible experience to witness his creative process in action."
