Taylor Swift lit up the entire stadium with her presence. During the Kansas City Chiefs game on December 25th, Taylor wasn't just cheering on Travis Kelce; she also brought holiday cheer to the staff members who were spending their Christmas Day at Arrowhead Stadium.
"She was running around, spreading Christmas cheer and came over to me, saying 'Thank you so much for working on Christmas. Please take this, Merry Christmas,'" wrote Robyn Gentry, a stadium worker, on Facebook on December 28th. "My mind just froze. Of course, I said 'Merry Christmas' and 'Thank you so much.' Travis and she were smiling so widely, constantly repeating 'Merry Christmas, thank you for working on Christmas,' and then they were gone. I stopped to look at what was in my hand... $600."

For the staff members, that extra bit of cash during the holiday season meant so much - with Robyn specifically sharing that she had just spent a lot of money on gifts for eight kids. "I immediately started crying," she reflected. "I wanted to share this story with people who would appreciate it. Taylor and Travis are incredibly kind people. It's very true - they're incredibly kind people."
Taylor's gesture comes just after the "Karma" singer donated $1 million dollars to Feeding America and the American Heart Association, as well as another large donation to the Recording Academy's MusiCares over the holiday season. Her philanthropic and generous spirit was also highlighted in her recent Disney+ docuseries, The End of an Era, which showed her giving hefty bonuses to her backup singers, dancers, and band.
"Bonus day is so important, because setting a precedent with the Eras Tour is really important to me," Taylor said in the second episode. "These people just work so hard, and they are the best at what they do."
And it's not just money that Taylor gifted to each member of her team - she also wrote a handwritten note to each person, which she said took her "a couple weeks." "It's fun to think about everybody's lives that they're going to go back to, and the time off they're going to have, and the kids they haven't seen because they've been away for months," Taylor continued. "It feels like Christmas morning when you finally get to say thank you."
