Quinton Aaron is once again marking a significant milestone in his health and fitness journey. The star of *The Blind Side*, who portrayed NFL sensation Michael Oher in the acclaimed 2009 biopic, recently took to social media to share a major achievement in his weight loss quest, showcasing a dramatically leaner physique. “I am overwhelmed and blessed to announce that I have reached another cool milestone in my life,” he penned in an Instagram post on October 12. “Today, when I stepped on the scale, I noticed I had hit the 200-pound marker. That means, from my all-time heaviest at 575 pounds to this morning’s 375 pounds, I’ve shed 200 pounds. I know, right? AMAZING!!!”

Accompanying his heartfelt message, the 41-year-old actor juxtaposed a red-carpet photo of himself from January 2012 with a more recent snapshot, emphasizing his remarkable transformation. He also revealed that he is still striving toward his ultimate goal weight. “I’ve got 55 more pounds to go until I reach my overall target of 320 pounds,” he declared with determination. “I GOT THIS!!!”

Having grappled with his weight for years, Quinton previously shared in February 2022 that he had dropped nearly 100 pounds. At the time, he told TMZ that he had swapped out candy bars and bread for a ketogenic diet rich in high-fat, low-carb foods. The actor also attributed his healthier lifestyle to regular walking, stretching exercises, and fasting.

Last month, Quinton offered a deeper glimpse into his transformation during an appearance on the *Recovery Vow* podcast, where he opened up about his battle with binge eating. “Food was my drug,” he confessed. “I’d eat even when I wasn’t hungry. I’d just go out, buy food, sit in my car in the parking lot, devour it, and cry, not understanding why. I’d think, ‘Why do I feel this way?’”

Despite the challenges, Quinton has embraced the understanding that progress is rarely linear. “This has been such a journey,” he wrote on Instagram on September 23. “But I am so proud of myself for sticking to it and shedding this weight.”
