While the specifics of his performance remain under wraps, The Kid LAROI has garnered four nominations at this year's ceremony, including Best Solo Artist and Best Hip Hop/Rap Release for the deluxe reissue of his 2023 album, 'The First Time,' which soared to No. 24 on the Billboard 200 in August. Born into Gadigal heritage with Kamilaroi roots, he also receives nods for Best Pop Release with "Girls," which debuted at No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 in July, and Song of the Year for "Nights Like This," which charted just four spots higher at No. 47 during the same week.

To date, The Kid LAROI has triumphantly secured three ARIA Awards from his previous 14 nominations, with his 2021 collaboration with Justin Bieber, "Stay," topping the Hot 100 and earning him accolades for Best Artist and Best Pop Release. The following year, "Thousand Miles" reclaimed the Best Pop Release title for him.

The ARIA Awards' performance lineup further boasts an array of exceptional Australian talents, currently featuring CYRIL, 3%, Jessica Mauboy, Julian Hamilton of The Presets, Troy Cassar-Daley, Amy Shark, Angie McMahon, and Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers. The evening will also shine a spotlight on ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Missy Higgins, who will enchant the audience with a medley of her beloved hits, joined by an ensemble of friends and former collaborators.

Ava Max will perform her chart-topping hits "Sweet But Psycho" and "Kings & Queens," alongside her nascent collaboration "Forever Young," recorded with David Guetta and featuring vocals from original artist Alphaville. Currently sitting at No. 21 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart after its debut last week, the track promises to be a highlight.
