The Real Reason Paige DeSorbo Left Summer House

Paige DeSorbo is casting fresh light on her heartfelt decision to bid adieu to "Summer House." The seasoned Bravo veteran, who graced the reality TV screens for a remarkable seven-year stint before her recent exit, opened up about her reluctance to revisit the Hamptons following the wrap-up of season nine last year. Sharing her thoughts with host Larry Crespo on the August 4th episode of his popular "Bravo By Gays" podcast, Paige revealed, "I must confess, this decision was the culmination of many months of introspection. Leaving last summer, I had an inexplicable预感 deep within me, whispering, 'This might just be my final departure from this house.'"

Her intuition was further solidified after embarking on a nationwide podcast tour with "Giggly Squad" last autumn and enduring a very public split with "Southern Charm's" Craig Conover in November. Paige, now 32, elaborated, "As summer approached, I had this sudden realization: 'Hold on, I simply cannot film another TV show. It would be too much for me; I might even perish from exhaustion.'"

Recalling how she was already "swamped" with professional commitments during the previous summer's filming, Paige admitted, "This past spring, I realized I desperately needed a break. Physically, I didn't think I could handle another season of 'Summer House.'" Despite the launch of her new loungewear line, Daphne, which one might expect to promote on the show, Paige's personal well-being took precedence. She explained, "One would think, with Daphne's debut, I'd eagerly promote it on the show. That was the plan all along—debut something and capitalize on the show's platform. But my personal feelings outweighed any professional gain associated with Daphne."

Moreover, Paige isn't the carefree, party-loving 20-something she once was. She confided, "I couldn't have returned this summer and stayed true to myself. After working tirelessly this year, the idea of hitting the town on Friday and Saturday nights no longer resonates with me. It's just not my scene anymore. I feel like I'd be taking up a spot that rightfully belongs to a younger woman, who deserves the same opportunities I had when I was 25."

Of course, Paige isn't the only one feeling this way.
