The USPS announced on Friday that Trebek, who passed away in 2020 after hosting the iconic show for 37 seasons, has been given the ultimate posthumous honor of being featured on his own stamp. The stamp, now available for fans to order, bears the prompt, "THIS NATURALIZED U.S. CITIZEN HOSTED THE QUIZ SHOW ‘JEOPARDY!’ FOR 37 SEASONS," mirroring the signature question-and-answer format of the beloved show. Beneath it, flipped upside down, lies the answer: "Who is Alex Trebek?"

Sold in sets of 20, reminiscent of the iconic "Jeopardy!" screens, the stamp pane features relevant category headers adorning the top of each column. To the left, a captivating photograph of Trebek stands, with a snippet of the show's set as a backdrop. Trebek, who passed away due to pancreatic cancer, was a household name and a cherished figure for millions of viewers over his nearly four-decade-long reign.

The stamp was unveiled by one of Trebek's successors, Ken Jennings, during a taping of "Jeopardy!" that aired on June 21. The stamp's design was a collaborative effort between Antonio Alcalá, the USPS art director, who utilized photography provided by Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Marti Davila, whose hand lettering graces the stamp. It officially hit the market on June 22, a fitting tribute to a man who will forever be remembered as the heart and soul of "Jeopardy!"
