Gracie McGraw, the daughter of renowned country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, has courageously come out as queer. On June 2, Monday, Gracie posted a festive message celebrating Pride Month on her Instagram Stories, exuberantly exclaiming, "Everyone, embrace more gayness now!!!" accompanied by several enthusiastic exclamation marks. Beneath the post, the 28-year-old Gracie penned, "Happy Freaking Pride," expressing her heartfelt joy. "I cherish being queer," she affectionately added.
In a subsequent post, Gracie shared a compelling graphic that emphasized, "Pride originated as a riot spearheaded by Black and Brown trans activists," a testament to the movement's roots. This revelation marks Gracie's first public acknowledgment of her sexuality. While her parents have yet to comment on her announcement, Faith Hill, 57, has been a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ+ community on numerous occasions, notably when Chely Wright came out as a lesbian in 2010.
In May, Tim McGraw, 58, celebrated Gracie's birthday by sharing a nostalgic photo on Instagram. "It's hard to believe our little bundle of joy turns 28 today! Happy birthday to our beloved Gracie! You are a beacon of light in this world, my dear girl. Filled with warmth, depth, respect, and, oh yes, an abundance of talent! We wish you the most wonderful day ever and remind you that you are loved beyond measure. I adore you, my little princess — Dad," he wrote warmly.
Earlier in April, Gracie made her debut in "The Great War & The Great Gatsby" at Carnegie Hall. On the premiere night, her doting parents were in attendance, cheering her on from the audience.
Gracie is the eldest of McGraw and Hill's trio of daughters, which also includes Maggie, 26, and Audrey, 23. In 2020, Tim McGraw proudly spoke about Gracie's talents to PEOPLE. "Gracie, our oldest daughter, is an actress thriving in L.A. She makes me proud every single day as she embodies strength and independence, fearlessly voicing her opinions," he gushed. "And she brings me immense pride in the way she lives her life," he added with affection.
