Timothée Chalamet graced the red carpet at the 2026 Oscars, arriving solo despite his absence of girlfriend Kylie Jenner. The 30-year-old actor donned an all-white double-breasted suit, complemented by a white shirt and tie. Adding a touch of sophistication, he adorned his ensemble with a scattering of silver rings and white boots.
Although the star appeared solo on the red carpet, Jenner, 28, was waiting for him inside the ceremony. Jenner teased her appearance on Instagram with a video posing in a ruby red Schiaparelli by Daniel Roseberry gown, featuring a plunging scoop neckline and a cheeky keyhole cutout at the chest. She captioned the video with "jessica who," referencing the iconic Jessica Rabbit as her inspiration for the night. Jenner also shared a photo of a red Ferrari on her Instagram Stories as her "color reference."

Mackenzie Grandquist, who styles Jenner, posted a clip from Jenner's past Vogue: Life in Looks video, in which she talked about needing "another moment" in the keyhole dress she wore at Paris Fashion Week in 2023 in silver but in another color. Jenner also sparkled in eye-catching Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, wearing around 200 carats of diamonds on her necklace, earrings, and rings.
The awards show marked Chalamet's first major appearance since his comments about opera and ballet caused backlash within the arts community. In February, the actor joined Matthew McConaughey for a Variety and CNN town hall at the University of Texas at Austin. During the conversation, he shared, "I don't want to be working in ballet, or opera, or things where it's like, 'Hey, keep this thing alive, even though like no one cares about this anymore.' All respect to all the ballet and opera people out there."
Chalamet and Jenner previously stole the internet with their matching moment at the December premiere of Marty Supreme in Los Angeles. Wearing matching all-orange looks by Chrome Hearts, Chalamet and Jenner dominated the red carpet and packed on plenty of PDA. Chalamet wore a bright orange suit complete with Timberland-style boots and a black table ping-pong paddle case over his shoulder, while Jenner wore a low-cut leather dress with cutouts on the sides. The instantly iconic look went viral, with Hacks stars Meg Stalter and Paul W. Downs hilariously recreating the looks on the Golden Globes red carpet.
Jenner joined Chalamet at the Critics Choice Awards, Golden Globes, and the BAFTA Awards. The notoriously private couple have been more public about their love in recent months. During his acceptance speech at the Critics Choice Awards in January, Chalamet thanked Jenner. "And lastly, I'll just say, thank you to my partner of three years," he said to Jenner, who was in the audience. "Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn't do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much," he continued while motioning to Jenner, who was shown mouthing "I love you, too" from the audience.
In Marty Supreme, Chalamet stars as Marty, a 1950s tennis table champion loosely based on real-life player Marty Reisen. Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler, the Creator, and Odessa A'zion also star in the film, which was nominated for nine Oscars at tonight's show, including Best Picture and Best Director.
