Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas appear to have solidified their romance, as they were caught indulging in some public displays of affection during a weekend retreat in Vermont on July 26th. This sighting came five months after whispers of a burgeoning relationship first emerged between the duo.
The 63-year-old Cruise, attired in a head-to-toe dark blue ensemble, comprising a tailored tee, slacks, and a baseball cap, clung to the hand of de Armas, the star of the upcoming "John Wick: Ballerina." Completing his look were dark sunglasses and crisp white sneakers. Meanwhile, de Armas, who calls Vermont her home, kept her attire effortlessly chic in a white tee paired with black flared jeans. The 37-year-old actress sported her hair in a ponytail and added a touch of contrast with black-and-white sneakers.
Cruise, known for his iconic roles in "Top Gun" and "Mission: Impossible," and de Armas, an Oscar nominee, first sparked dating rumors in February when they were photographed together on a night out in London. Initially, a source told PEOPLE that they were dining with their agents, "discussing potential collaborations," and noted that the actors "appeared to be just friends with no romantic involvement."
However, over the ensuing weeks, the pair were frequently photographed together, including at David Beckham's 50th birthday bash in London in May and strolling through a London park on de Armas' 37th birthday just days prior. Their summer escapades also included a yacht trip in Spain and, most recently, attending an Oasis concert at London's Wembley Stadium.
The couple was spotted enjoying the band's performance in the background of an Instagram video shared by English producer and DJ Goldie. Goldie, 59, also posted a selfie with Cruise from the concert.
In May, de Armas confirmed that she was collaborating on multiple projects with Cruise, one of which is the supernatural ocean thriller "Deeper," directed by Doug Liman. A source told PEOPLE earlier this month that the two actors share "a special work relationship" and revealed that de Armas had spent the entire summer preparing for "Deeper," their maiden project together.
"Tom is incredibly hardworking, and she's thrilled to work with him. She considers it an opportunity of a lifetime," the insider shared, adding, "Tom serves as an incredible mentor to Ana. She speaks highly of him."
Cruise's past marital journey includes unions with Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman, and Katie Holmes. He is the father of three children: Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30, with Kidman, 58, and 19-year-old Suri with Holmes, 46.
On the other hand, de Armas was most recently rumored to be involved with Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuba's president, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez. Prior to that, she dated Tinder executive Paul Boukadakis and had a relationship with her "Deep Water" co-star Ben Affleck from March 2020 until their "completely amicable" split in January 2021.
