Tom Felton recently opened up about his deep appreciation for his Harry Potter co-star, Daniel Radcliffe, who recently opened his Broadway play, "Every Brilliant Thing." During his recent appearance on Josh Horowitz's "Happy Sad Confused" podcast, Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, spoke highly of Radcliffe's Broadway show.

The 38-year-old English actor shared, "Oh, I should tell you what I did. It was Radcliffe's opening night last night for his play, 'Every Brilliant Thing,' which was really, really fun to watch." He then asked Horowitz, "It's customary to send flowers, right?" to which Horowitz replied, "I believe so."

"Yes, I believe so," Felton urged, admitting that he was aware that Radcliffe "would not enjoy flowers." As Brits, they like to have a bit of fun with the tradition. Referring to John Skelley, who is playing adult Harry Potter in the Broadway production of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," Felton revealed that it was John Skelley's idea to send Radcliffe a wand of his own.

"He thought it was a good idea as a gift," Felton said. "I knew that Daniel wouldn't appreciate it as a joke, so I decided to text him something like, 'Dear dude, um break legs tonight. If all else fails, whip this out. Love, Draco.'"

"I haven't heard back from him yet, but I'm hoping that he had a rise smile," Felton quipped. "I'm sure he did. I'm sure he did," Horowitz assured him.

As the conversation progressed, the host said, "You know, he is a part of the reason you're here on Broadway." "That's fair to say. Yes. Absolutely. Yes," Felton agreed, explaining, "I've seen Daniel in every - most if not all of his productions and Robert's. And I've been a theater fan my whole life."

"My mom took me to the theater from a very early age, and I've always appreciated the medium more than any other," he noted. It is pertinent to mention that Tom Felton, who made his Broadway debut in November 2025, is currently playing his Harry Potter character Malfoy in "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" on Broadway.
