Tom Holland and Zendaya etched their names into each other's hearts, marking their upcoming engagement with matching tattoos. On November 27th, the celebrated duo, both aged 28, visited Boston Tattoo Company on Newbury Street to ink each other's initials onto their skin. The artist behind these personalized designs, Lily Jarnryd, couldn't help but speak glowingly of the couple, exclusively sharing with PEOPLE, "Meeting them was delightful and such a joy!" Zendaya subtly adorned her skin with a tiny 't' tattoo nestled just below her armpit, while her fiancé opted for an equally discreet 'z' placed elegantly on his ribcage.

Their journey as an on-screen couple began in 2017 with 'Spider-Man: Homecoming,' and in 2021, they publicly acknowledged their off-screen romance. On January 6th, PEOPLE confirmed that Holland and the 'Dune: Part Two' actress had gotten engaged. TMZ was the first to break the news, adding that the 'Uncharted' star popped the question at a family member's home between Christmas and New Year.

Zendaya charmingly revealed her engagement while gracing the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globes, where she was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. At the glamorous event, she turned heads in a stunning strapless Louis Vuitton custom burnt orange satin dress, paired with chic pointed-toe pumps. Adorning her ring finger was a dazzling 5.02-carat East-West Cushion Diamond Button Back Ring from Jessica McCormack, listed in the engagement section of the jewelry brand's website.

A source revealed to PEOPLE the sweetness behind Holland's proposal to the 'Euphoria' star, stating, "He's always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They share something truly special." The insider added, "Tom has always had this adorable way of letting the world know that Zendaya is his. Now, it's official—she really is!"

Their 'Spider-Man' co-star Marisa Tomei also celebrated their engagement, posting a photo of Holland and Zendaya at one of the film's premieres on her Instagram Stories with the caption, "Congrats you two, xoxo."

In an interview with GQ in November 2021, Holland and Zendaya opened up about their desire to keep their relationship out of the public eye. Holland noted, "One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn't really in our control anymore. A moment that you think is private and intimate, shared only between two people who love each other deeply, suddenly becomes a moment shared with the entire world." Zendaya echoed this sentiment, adding, "When you genuinely love and care for someone, there are moments and things you wish could remain your own."
