The studio chose to keep details of the 30-year-old actress's injury under wraps, as she embarks on the role of the adventurous and skilled archaeologist Lara Croft in this upcoming television series. This announcement follows the excitement-inducing casting news revealed by the show's executive producer, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, an esteemed English actress and screenwriter.
Waller-Bridge shared her enthusiasm, stating, "I'm thrilled to announce the formidable Sophie Turner as our Lara alongside this exceptional creative team. It's a rare opportunity to bring a show of this scale to life with a character that I grew up loving.
