**ABC, Would You Accept Kayla Nicole's Rose?**
The fitness influencer, who previously dated Travis Kelce, is offering her audition for The Bachelorette after Taylor Swift's season was unexpectedly pulled by the network on March 19th.
"My audition to be the next Bachelorette," Kayla wrote in a TikTok on March 25th, adding in the caption, "Hey @ABC, heard you need a stand-in?" Although her followers took the suggestion seriously—with several expressing hope in the comments that the 34-year-old would join the series—Kayla appeared to be making a tongue-in-cheek request, using an audio from a popular online video by comedian Jason Banks.
"I play professional football for the Dallas Cowboys," the audio, claiming to be putting together a dating profile, says as Kayla lipsynched. "I'm an Army vet from Minnesota. I'm Spider-Man. I won Miss America—I got second place."
This wouldn't be the first time Kayla has gotten candid about dating in the public eye. Three months after her ex Travis and Taylor Swift got engaged, the social media star revealed a new dating rule for herself. "I keep saying I don't want to date any more athletes," Kayla said during a November 2025 appearance on The Boyfriend Material podcast, "but I'm down to date the owners of the teams." Nevertheless, Kayla admitted, "I'm really open; the bar is in hell these days."
Indeed, Kayla has not publicly dated anyone since her split from Travis in 2022. And while the Special Forces alum and the Kansas City Chiefs player ultimately did not work out, she did defend him against rumors that they split because he was "too cheap." "Do I look like anybody that would split anything?" Kayla rhetorically asked during a 2024 appearance on the Unapologetically Angel podcast. "No, this is the question. Do I look like I would go 50/50 on bills?" She emphasized, "That was never an issue in our relationship."
For his part, Travis also shook off the rumors. "Don't buy into that s--t," Travis said during an appearance on The Pivot Podcast in 2023. "We were in a relationship for five years. A hundred dollars here and a hundred dollars there wasn't even thought about."
And though Kayla is still holding out for her perfect man, Travis has fallen head over heels for Taylor. "We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are," Travis told GQ in August 2025. "We share all those values. It kind of just took off."
