The news of her passing was confirmed by her grandson Dylan King in an emotional Instagram post on Tuesday. He declared that "age is truly just a number" when it comes to Agnes's legacy. In a heartfelt statement shared online, Dylan expressed his pride in the woman Agnes was long before she became an online sensation.

"We are proud of the mother and grandmother who held our family together," he wrote. "We are proud of the way she spent her later years proving that life does not end at a certain age, but only changes shape." He added, "For most of her life, Agnes was not an influencer. She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a grandmother, a neighbor, and a friend."

Agnes was the one who ensured everyone else was fed before thinking of herself. She was the one who remembered birthdays, who called just to check in, who quietly carried more than she ever let on. She was home.

In addition to her fun and silly videos, Agnes also shared insights about her chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which earned her the nickname "the coughing gran." She also spoke about her grief after the death of her husband George. Her grandson had posted several health updates about his grandmother in the weeks leading up to her passing.

Initially hospitalized due to complications from COPD, Agnes later suffered a series of strokes. Her videos amassed her a large online following, particularly among young people worldwide, who admired her spirit and relatable content.
