Valerie Bertinelli is poised to uncover the mysteries of blonde hair and its supposed amusing qualities. The veteran actress from "One Day at a Time" recently debuted a stunning new look for her latest acting role, donning a long, blonde, wavy wig—a dramatic departure from her usual brunette tresses.
"New hair, who dis?" Valerie posted on Instagram on November 10th, tagging her hairstylist Chris Appleton. However, she clarified that the blonde look was temporary, adding, "It's a wig." The 65-year-old then gave fans a sneak peek behind the scenes of her hairstyle, confessing in an Instagram Story, "Yes, it's a wig. And I have no idea how to get this off."

Valerie then embarked on a hilarious attempt to remove the wig herself, noting the "a lot of pins in here" and laughing about her "hair being glued to my head." As she slowly managed to unsnap something "in a good way," she shared her excitement.
Once finally liberated from her blonde wig, Valerie was slightly taken aback by her natural hair, joking, "I need my roots done." She then tapped her fingers on her hair, saying, "Can you hear that? It's all crusty." Even quipping that she looked "like Pippi Longstocking" with her hair in braids.
But the blonde transformation isn't the only change Valerie has undergone recently. She also shared her newfound passion for keeping her focus on health: "My pool is 66°," Valerie said on Instagram in April. "Now, for a cold plunge that's relatively warm. (that's what they say whoever they are) but along with everything else I've been experimenting with, this has helped improve my mood, has reduced inflammation and it's easier than filling my bath up with ice cubes."
In another post that same month, she expressed the ups and downs of life over "the last handful of years," writing, "The light at the end of the tunnel is finally here. I can see it. I feel it." She continued, "I love my family. I love my friends. I love all of you out there supporting me and being a part of our community here."
