Evan Peters is eagerly preparing for Ariana Grande's upcoming role in "American Horror Story." Following the announcement that the "Wicked: For Good" actress will star alongside the Emmy winner in season 13 of the anthology series, Peters detailed the immense benefits of having Ariana join the Ryan Murphy show.
"What doesn't she bring to the cast?" Evan asked, speaking with E! News' Will Marfuggi in an exclusive interview. "She's an incredible performer and actress, and I think it's going to be fantastic to have her on board."
The "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" actor is eagerly anticipating what the future holds for him and Ariana—who previously starred in Ryan's 2015 show "Scream Queens"—along with the rest of the cast, including AHS veterans Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, and Emma Roberts. He's particularly eager to see how Ryan will utilize all of Ariana's unique talents on the small screen.
"I'm excited to see what's in store for this season," he continued. "I haven't read anything yet, so I'm curious to find out what it'll be and what she'll be doing. It's thrilling."
In the meantime, Evan has teamed up with Ryan for another must-watch show, explaining why he enjoyed working with the TV mastermind on "The Beauty," starring Ashton Kutcher and Rebecca Hall, premiering Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. ET on Hulu and FX.
"He's just an incredible collaborator," Evan shared. "As strong as his vision is, he's willing to take ideas in and try them, and you definitely get to have some say. That's the beauty of it."
As for what drew Evan to star in "The Beauty," which he described as an "international sci-fi satirical body horror action thriller," he said:
"The really long action sequences, and playing the FBI agent and trying to take down the evil corporation were all very intriguing, for sure."
