In the realm of paradise that is "The White Lotus," there appears to be no discord between stars Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood, as the latter has revealed. Following the grand appearance of multiple stars from the HBO drama's third season at the prestigious 2025 Met Gala on Monday night, Wood addressed a question regarding Goggins amidst rumors swirling that the duo might not be seeing eye-to-eye, fueled by a recent interview where Goggins politely declined to discuss Wood.

The 31-year-old Wood, speaking about a mini "White Lotus" reunion at the glamorous fashion event, which also saw the presence of season 3's other stars like Goggins, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Blackpink's Lisa, enthused, "It's absolutely delightful! I had hoped more of us would join, but schedules being busy, it's still wonderful that we could come together, even in the car. It's the perfect reunion."

Entertainment Tonight's reporter then inquired if Wood would make a guest appearance on Goggins' upcoming episode of "Saturday Night Live" on May 10, especially after she had vocally expressed her dissatisfaction with the show's parody of "White Lotus" that poked fun at her physical appearance.

Wood responded with a chuckle, "I couldn't really say, but I'm not doing it this time." However, she added, "It would be fun in general," although logistics didn't allow it this round. "Working with Walton was an absolute dream come true," she expressed, days after Goggins had refused to comment on Wood during a tense interview with The Times.

Pressed to elaborate on the intense media scrutiny surrounding her reaction to the SNL parody, which she deemed "mean and unfunny," Wood noted that the situation "spun out of control." She clarified that she decided to voice her criticism to avoid an internal downspiral and feeling terrible about herself if she remained silent. "It all escalated quickly," she sighed, before steering the conversation back to praising Goggins.

"I'm confident that he'll be incredible on SNL. It's a perfect fit for him; he's bound to be hilarious," she beams. "I'm eagerly anticipating it. It all just got a bit too dramatic."

Wood also shared with ET that the fascination with her relationship with Goggins taught her "how people get bored and overanalyze social media," amidst The Times' reporting that the two weren't following each other on social media. As of Tuesday, however, both Wood and Goggins are now mutual followers on Instagram.

"You just can't let yourself get too caught up in it. It's crucial to learn boundaries," Wood concluded wisely.

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to Goggins' representative for comment.

Wood wasn't the only one to address the SNL parody. SNL cast member Bowen Yang also spoke about the incident in an interview with Extra. "It's something we tend to forget, and this serves as a reminder," Yang said. "She seems to have talked to people at the show about it, and hopefully, there's room for和解 and moving past it."

He continued, "Parody can sometimes go too far, and we as comedians should take responsibility for that, rather than stubbornly insisting, 'We should be allowed to say whatever we want.'"
