Fans of Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo might be bracing for a sense of familiarity all over again. Photos captured by the Daily Mail and circulated on June 27 revealed that the former 'Girl Meets World' star had graced Olivia's 'good 4 u' concert at London's Hyde Park, sparking buzz that a stage collaboration between the duo could be in the making.
Hints of a potential partnership between the two first emerged when Olivia, 22, included Sabrina's single "Espresso" in her pre-show playlist for her Dublin stop on the 'Guts' World Tour on June 24. As Olivia prepares to take the stage once more at the Glastonbury Festival on June 29, fans are abuzz with speculations that she might bring out the 26-year-old as a surprise guest.
"Is anyone else expecting Olivia Rodrigo to bring Sabrina Carpenter out at Glastonbury?" pondered a fan in a TikTok video, while another user on X (formerly Twitter) mulled over "the notion of Olivia featuring Sabrina as a special guest during her Glastonbury set tomorrow."
Previously, the pair had been entangled in rumors of a love triangle involving Olivia's 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' co-star Joshua Bassett, which many believed served as the muse for her single "drivers license." However, Olivia chose to remain tight-lipped about the song's origins, stating, "I understand people's fascination with the specifics behind the song and its inspiration, but for me, that's the least significant aspect. It strikes a chord with people due to its emotional depth, and everything else is secondary," she told Billboard in January 2021.
Olivia and Sabrina put those dramatic rumors to rest with a warm interaction at the 2025 Grammy Awards in February. A video posted on X captured the two sharing an embrace before engaging in a friendly chat as Olivia visited Sabrina's table inside the event.
Meanwhile, the "Manchild" singer recently reflected on her growth from the alleged scandal, sharing, "That period taught me to trust myself, to have faith that everything will unfold as it's meant to, and to believe that relationships enter our lives for a reason. You might not see it at the time, but the perspective becomes clear later," she revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone published on June 12.
