Will Arnett, Jimmy Kimmel Crash Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka’s Oscars Party Date Night

This date night undoubtedly outshines the office Christmas party. Jason Bateman and his wife of 24 years, Amanda Anka, made a stunning appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party following their joint attendance at the 2026 Academy Awards. The couple, who share two children—Francesca, 19, and Maple, 14—were all smiles as they posed on the red carpet alongside friends Jimmy Kimmel and wife Molly McNearney and Will Arnett.

Amanda, 57, looked absolutely stunning in a strapless black sheer gown adorned with sparkling polka dot and striped embellishments. Her hair flowed in effortlessly chic beachy waves. Meanwhile, Jason, also 57, showed off his burgeoning beard and donned a classic tuxedo.

This date night comes after Jason reflected on the positive impact Amanda has had on his life, including encouraging him to curtail his partying ways after landing his leading role on Arrested Development back in 2003. "Amanda and I definitely had a few negotiations about the point at which the [partying] spigot was going to completely turn off," he told The Hollywood Reporter in February. "She’d be like, ‘This drip, drip, drip is annoyingly unpredictable, Jason.’”

The Zootopia 2 star, who is now sober, added, "She didn’t demand that I completely absolve, but that was sort of the back-and-forth. I was like, well, I feel like my [sobriety] ETA is six months away, but if I could land this plane now, it would alleviate a lot of the tension, so let’s just f**king do it.” Jason went on to share that he knew his hard-partying ways would have to come to an end by the time he became a father, especially if he wanted to continue working. "I was conscious the whole time of wanting to get a lot of these boxes checked before I became a father," he said. "And as a guy with a career that I not only wanted but had a feeling I might be able to get if I just got the right job."
