Fran Drescher can don a plethora of roles, each more captivating than the last. In addition to the top hat she donned with her sleek black sequined gown at the 2026 Actor Awards, hosted by Kristen Bell at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on March 1st, the Nanny alum revealed her willingness to officiate the wedding of her Marty Supreme co-star Timothée Chalamet and his girlfriend Kylie Jenner. "If they asked me to," Fran shared with Keltie Knight on Live From E!: Actor Awards 2026. "I do officiate gay weddings, so I'm certainly open to branching out and officiating if they desire."

However, while the 68-year-old, nominated alongside Timmy for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for Marty Supreme, would be willing to be available for the nuptials, she admitted, "I have a hunch they won't be asking."

Whether Timothée will invite his on-screen mother to play a part in his big day remains to be seen, but Fran emphasized that her maternal instincts extend beyond the screen. "He's incredibly sweet, a bit vulnerable, and utterly charming," she continued. "When we did some press on top of the Empire State Building, he's actually afraid of heights, and I felt compelled to mother him in that moment. I was extremely worried about him."

She recalled, "I said, 'Look, we're not curing cancer here. Let's get off the roof of the Empire State Building.'" Despite his fear of heights, Fran praised Timothée's fearless performance onscreen. "He's such a young actor, but he's on a quest for greatness," she shared. "He's a darling. A very talented man."
