Previously announced, the enigmatic Sherlock Holmes will be brought to life by the talented Hero Fiennes Tiffin, in a portrayal that promises to redefine the iconic detective at his formative years. The official synopsis for "Young Sherlock" paints a vivid picture: "At the cusp of adulthood, 19-year-old Sherlock Holmes finds himself disgraced, raw, and untested, as he becomes embroiled in a treacherous murder mystery at Oxford University that threatens to shatter his very freedom. Plunging into his maiden case with reckless abandon, Sherlock unravels a web of conspiracy that spans the globe, forever altering the course of his life."

This marks Finn's second foray into the Amazon Studios realm, following his acclaimed role as Mat Cauthon in the high-fantasy epic "The Wheel of Time," where he joined the fray in its sophomore season. His diverse screen credits also boast appearances in "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore," the gripping world of "The Witcher," and the coming-of-age tale "How to Build a Girl." Currently, Finn mesmerizes West End audiences in the critically acclaimed production of "Hadestown," with his final bow scheduled for August 25.
