Yungblud, the 28-year-old singer, has revealed that he finds it difficult to recall his extraordinary performance of "Changes" at Ozzy Osbourne's "Back to the Beginning" concert. Despite being nominated for a Grammy in the Best Rock Performance category for his poignant rendition of the Black Sabbath track during Ozzy's farewell concert in Birmingham, Yungblud admits that the intensity of the performance has left him with little memory of it.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Yungblud described the experience as "the first time I've ever sung a piece of music to one person." He went into a state of deep transformation, so intense that he can't even remember it. Despite his amnesia, he considers this performance as the moment when the world began to view him differently as an artist.
"That was probably the moment - I think it was brewing - but I think the world started paying attention after that," he explained. "I watched it back, and I don't know what the f*** came over me there."
Yungblud's performance was the only live performance nominated in the category this year, and he thinks it's fitting that his love for Ozzy - who passed away just weeks after the gig - has been recognized. The Zombie singer exclaimed, "It's so amazing that it got nominated for rock performance as actually the only live performance in the category."
He added, "I think it's cool that something got critically acclaimed for me just telling the guy who got me into music and started everything for me that I love him."
However, the young rock star had no idea that his performance would leave such a lasting impression. "Honestly, when I left the stage, I did not expect it to ignite that much. I knew it was magic... I felt like I was in a movie," he said. "I think it was the first time people had something in common with me - like, 'Oh, f***, man, he just likes Sabbath. He just likes Ozzy, like me.'"
