Zendaya and Tom Holland embody a unique trust—a balance of trusting each other while keeping a healthy distance from others. This dynamic was on full display as the couple, who got engaged around Christmas last year, stepped out together at The Traitors: Live Experience on December 21st, accompanied by Tom's family and friends, including his parents Nikki and Dominic Holland, his 26-year-old brothers Sam and Harry Holland, Paddy, 21, and longtime BFF Harrison Osterfield.
In an Instagram Story shared by the London venue, Zendaya and Tom, both 29, beamed with excitement alongside their family members. Zendaya sported a chic short bob hairstyle, a gray sweater, and a bold dark red lip, while Tom wore a burgundy sweater. Sam, for his part, also shared a recap of the family night out, including a photo of Zendaya and Tom posing with his parents—and importantly confirming that his twin Harry was the "Traitor" of the group. "Had a great time at @thetraitorslive yesterday," Sam wrote in his December 22nd post. "You can't trust anyone when you enter the round table...not even family."
This sweet family excursion comes almost exactly a year after Tom officially popped the question to his now fiancée. In January, his dad recapped the Christmastime proposal, saying his son was "very incredibly well prepared." "He had purchased a ring," Dominic wrote in a January 10th post on his Patreon. "He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out...When, where, how, what to say, what to wear..."
In the year since their engagement, however, the couple have been extremely busy—with Zendaya filming the final season of Euphoria and Dune and both she and Tom filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey. Understandably, wedding planning has been slow. "The process hasn't even started yet," the Emmy winner's longtime stylist Law Roach told E! News in July. "Zendaya is working on so many movies. She's now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she's away doing that. It's so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time."
Nevertheless, the 47-year-old couldn't emphasize enough how thrilled he was for her. "I'm really excited because I know that they really love each other and they have for a really long time," he added. "The fact that the world has been able to share in that love story, I think it's really beautiful."
