After a whirlwind year of releases in 2026, Zendaya is poised to take a well-deserved break from the limelight. The Emmy-winning actress has an impressive lineup of projects slated for this year, each one more anticipated than the last.

To start, she'll shine in the premiere of 'The Drama' on April 3rd, followed closely by the highly anticipated return of 'Euphoria' season 3 on April 12th. A hiatus of about three months will then precede the release of Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' on July 17th, followed two weeks later by the eagerly awaited fourth 'Spider-Man' film starring Tom Holland on July 31st. Closing out the year, Zendaya will star in the third 'Dune' film, set for a December 18th release.
With so many projects on her plate, Zendaya expressed to Fandango her hope that "people don't get sick of me," and jokingly plans to "hide away for a bit" after all these films and shows have been released. "I'm deeply appreciative of everyone who supports any of my movies or my career in any way," she said. "I just hope you guys don't get tired of me this year because, let me tell you, I'm disappearing for a little while. I'm going to have to go into hiding for just a bit."
While Zendaya may be stepping away from the spotlight after 2026, she will re-emerge in the summer of 2027 to promote 'Shrek 5'. The film arrives on June 30th, and she will voice Shrek's daughter, Felicia, as mainstays Mike Myers (Shrek), Eddie Murphy (Donkey), and Cameron Diaz (Fiona) return.
