Meanwhile, Raymond reunites with Herb, attempting to persuade him that Plannersbank is poised to seize everything Charlie Croker owns. Raymond pitches Herb the lucrative opportunity to either profit from the situation or watch others reap the rewards. However, Herb's sole interest lies in acquiring The Concourse.

Raymond suggests that the bank could offload the property to Herb at a substantial discount of 175 million dollars. Herb remains skeptical, believing that Charlie will never relinquish the building, as it symbolizes his success and achievements. Unfortunately, Charlie's grip is slipping, and soon, the bank will wrest control of the prized property.

Inside the prison walls, Conrad faces intimidation from fellow inmates, who demand that he ignore the goings-on within the confinement. This provocation ignites a fiery response in Conrad, who lashes out and breaks one inmate's hand. This act is startling, as Conrad has been portrayed as a meek and timid individual, averse to conflict.

Jill's heart is wrenched upon hearing this news, but Roger assures her that he will secure Conrad's release soon. However, when the racist judge learns of the altercation, he stubbornly refuses to grant Conrad bail. In response, Roger attempts to coerce Officer Smith into testifying that he, not Conrad, initiated the confrontation. When Smith stubbornly resists, Roger serves him with a subpoena.

Raymond meets with Martha and reveals the startling truth: Charlie is bankrupt and owes a staggering billion dollars to Plannersbank. Despite this revelation, Raymond assures Martha that he will go to any length to shield her from Charlie's legal and financial woes.

Elsewhere, Charlie convenes with Wes, who presents him with a scripted playbook for a press conference. Charlie's task is to expose Norman Bagovitch's unsavory character and disqualify him from becoming the mayor of Georgia.

The following day, Harry and Raymond meet with Longley, the president of Plannersbank. To their surprise, Longley announces that the bank has decided to grant Charlie Croker a temporary reprieve. Longley hints that this is part of a larger strategy, but he keeps the specifics under wraps.

It's evident that Wes has fulfilled his promise and convinced the bank to soften its stance against Charlie Croker. The stakes are high, and the drama continues to unfold in this intricate tale of power, money, and revenge.
