Agatha All Along – Season 1 Episode 4 1

Agatha, undaunted, is poised to press onward, back onto the treacherous path known as the Witches' Road, where the rules of survival are harsh and unforgiving. Yet, her companions are steadfast in their belief that a Green Witch's aid is imperative for their journey.

As Wiccan and Alice tend to Sharon's final resting place, the others embark on a quest to secure the services of a Green Witch. And just as fate would have it, Aubrey Plaza's enigmatic Rio Vidal, alias Lady Death, strides into their midst, offering her services and aligning herself with their motley crew. Her arrival ignites a flurry of emotions among the lesbian witches, who find themselves torn between admiration and trepidation.

Their destination in sight, a house looms ahead, and the Road's relentless pull compels them within, despite Alice's trepidation. Crossing the threshold, they find themselves transformed, each donning a unique guise, while Rio presents herself as an extraterrestrial threat to Agatha's order. Her intentions clear – to sow discord and unleash chaos upon their world – Rio and Agatha engage in a hushed conversation, plotting their next move.

Craftily, Agatha manipulates the intercom, luring Rio into divulging their shared, sinister past. It transpires that Agatha has a history of dispatching fellow witches, offering their souls as sustenance to Rio, fittingly, as the embodiment of Lady Death herself.

The setting holds deep significance for Alice, as this was once her abode, imbued with memories of her mother. Navigating a labyrinth of clues, they commence their investigation, starting with a record that, ironically, dooms them to a cursed fate. The stakes are high, and the race against time has begun, as the witches grapple with their demons, both past and present, on the unforgiving Witches' Road.

Lilia's fate culminates in a fiery demise, and soon, the realization dawns on every witch present: they bear the mark of burns across their shoulders, a chilling reminder of a common affliction. Their collective gaze turns to Alice, who harbors a generational curse, its malignancy now contagious, infecting the very fabric of their sisterhood. The solution, a single glimmer of hope, lies in the sweet melody of Lorna's ballad. Thus, the band convenes, and the stage ignites with yet another mesmerizing musical interlude. As the notes fade, the piano reveals a hidden passage, beckoning them towards the unknown.

But tragedy strikes anew when Wiccan (alias Billy) crumples to the ground, his condition dire, a knife's wound searing through his abdomen. Agatha's unwavering vigilance sustains him through the darkness, until consciousness flickers back into his eyes. In a moment of vulnerability, he inquires about the sigil's author, only to be met with a surprising revelation—he, himself, was the artist, as earlier confided by the show's helmsman. Intriguingly, Agatha remains tight-lipped, shrouding the truth behind her son's fate in mystery.

Meanwhile, amidst the turmoil, the other witches delve into their shared past, whispers of regret and unspoken scars echoing between them. Rio's tale unfolds, a heavy burden she bears within, a scar etched deep by a deed she longed to undo, its roots intertwined with Agatha's own narrative. Their bond deepens as they embrace, Agatha poised for a tender kiss, only for Rio to gently remind her that the young man they both cherish is not of her blood but Wanda's. The revelation hangs heavy in the air, a testament to the complexities of love, family, and the intricate web of fate that binds them all.
