Neve Campbell has reunited with Courteney Cox to star in Scream 7, the latest movie in the lucrative film franchise. In a recent chat with Extra, the 52-year-old actress, who has achieved immense success portraying Sidney Prescott in the Scream film series, revealed that she doesn't actually enjoy watching horror movies.

"I have a hard time watching scary movies," she explained. "But recently, I watched Sinners. It was fantastic. I think horror films can be a lot of fun to watch, I just need to be with someone."
She further admitted that she has thoroughly enjoyed working with Courtney Cox. Neve highlighted Cox's kind personality and work ethic, saying, "I love that woman. She's such a talent. She's so good at what she does and has such a good heart as well. So, we have fun together."
According to Variety, the 52-year-old actress has returned to Scream 7 after skipping Scream 6, securing a deal worth nearly $7 million to reprise her role as Sidney Prescott in the upcoming seventh installment, which will hit cinemas on February 27th, 2026.
