Zendaya and Tom Holland are married, Law Roach confidently revealed during a chat with Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards on Sunday, March 1. Teasing, "The wedding has already happened. You missed it." When further pressed by the reporter, Roach laughed and confirmed, "It's very true!"
Speculation about the couple's engagement began at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 5 when Zendaya, 29, was spotted wearing a diamond on her left hand's ring finger. TMZ confirmed the news the following day, citing sources close to the couple. An inside source later told PEOPLE that Holland, also 29, had been "wanting to propose to the Challengers actress for a while now. He's always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one."

The pair, who are notoriously private, first sparked dating rumors in 2016 when they were cast together in Spider-Man: Homecoming. However, both Zendaya and Tom maintained that their connection was strictly platonic at the time. In July 2017, a source told PEOPLE that the pair were romantically involved, saying, "They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man. They've been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye, but they've gone on vacations together and try to spend as much time as possible with one another."
Their romance was officially confirmed in 2021 when the Euphoria star and Avengers: Endgame actor were spotted kissing in a car. In November of that same year, Holland opened up about the challenges of balancing fame with the privacy of his relationship, telling GQ, "One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn't really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world." Zendaya echoed a similar sentiment, noting that they both wished certain moments could be kept private.
More recently, Zendaya spoke about learning to embrace the fact that her relationship with Tom will always entail a public element. "I can’t not be a person and live my life and love the person I love," she told Elle in an interview published on Aug. 23, 2023. "You can’t hide. That’s not fun either. I am navigating it more than ever now." She added, "It’s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist."
