The seventh episode of Alien: Earth opens with Slightly, as the Facehugger completes its work, leaving him in a state of mild shock. Now back in his room, Arthur is stashed beneath the bed, hidden from view. Smee, alerted by the commotion, enters to find Arthur and the Facehugger in an unexpected encounter.

Slightly enlists Smee in their mission to bring Arthur to the beach, and as they make their way down the corridor, Kirsh ventures into the lab, where he witnesses the flies corroding some of the electrical boxes. The soldiers rush in to contain the damage, their efforts to clean up the mess evident in their determination.
Boy Kavalier is shown footage of Tootles' demise, and his realization that Ocellus is more intelligent than they initially thought sparks an obsession. He forbids any hybrids from entering the lab and becomes fixated on Ocellus, believing it should be moved for further analysis, despite Atom Eins' concerns.
Wendy arrives at the lab, shocked to see Tootles' lifeless body. Despite her status as a "premium," she intends to inform the others of what has happened. When the soldiers block her exit, she communicates with the alien, who bangs its head against the glass in response. Kavalier, though concerned, allows her to go, eager to reach the other hybrids. However, their trackers have been turned off, and their movements are now untraceable.
Wendy reunites with Joe, who pleads with her to leave. She wants to bring the others onboard, but Curly wants to stay behind. She promises not to tell, but it's too late for that now. Wendy hacks the monitors and releases the xenomorph.
As they traverse the island, they come across gravestones bearing their former human names. Kirsh catches up with Slightly and Smee in the hallway, granting them access to the elevator and urging them to hurry. He is aware of Slightly's chats with Morrow and helps them escape.
Outside, numerous patrols roam the area, and eventually, the Facehugger detaches from Arthur's face. We all know what's coming, but like winding up a violent Jack in the Box, every scene with Arthur from here onwards is a tease as we wait for the inevitable chestbursting, building anticipation with each new development.
As the climax approaches, the baby xeno suddenly bursts forth, a blur of speed as it races away, leaving Slightly and Smee stunned as they converge with Morrow. When Morrow learns of the mishap, he springs into action, leading his compact team on a hunt to retrieve the elusive creature.
Meanwhile, Boy Kavalier has Ocellus transferred to his office, convinced that this alien entity holds the key to unlocking his intellectual mysteries. He harbors a plan to transfer it into a human host with a low IQ, believing that this will facilitate a more thorough examination of its intelligence. Atom Eins nods in agreement, starting a list of potential candidates.
In the woods, Wendy and her companions are suddenly surrounded by soldiers. The xenomorph leaps down, but Wendy, Nibs, and Joe remain unscathed thanks to Wendy's ability to communicate with the creature. She reaches out and touches it, commanding it to "hide and follow."
Joe seizes a gun from one of the soldiers and dashes off. In his haste, the baby xeno is snatched up...but not by Morrow. Kirsh cunningly maneuvers around Morrow and his team, double-crossing them and revealing that he had been using Smee and Slightly as bait to lure the cyborg in. Morrow is captured, while Smee and Slightly are left "grounded."
Joe, Nibs, and Wendy make their way to the dock where they find the boat waiting for them. However, a legion of soldiers stands in their path, including Rashidi. Nibs snaps and attacks, only to be subdued by Joe's sudden application of electricity to the hybrid. But not before she receives several gunshots for her troubles.
Wendy stands there, shocked, with the xenomorph poised to strike as the soldiers stand by, awestruck. Wendy's anger simmers, and she appears poised to order the xeno to attack at any moment.
