All American – Season 6 Episode 4 1

The day ensues with Spencer indulging in a marathon of revelry and libations with his mates, culminating in a slumber at Wade Walter's abode. The following morning, Spencer awakens still grappling with the aftereffects of his night's excess. Despite Boone's counsel to skip practice, Spencer insists, asserting he can brush off a minor hangover.

Elsewhere, friction simmers between Jordan and Layla, with Jordan convinced that Layla is neglecting their wedding preparations. Yet, they mend fences with heartfelt apologies, smoothing over their disputes.

Spencer finds himself entangled in a quest to piece together the night's events, particularly the whereabouts of Olivia's gift and the reason behind Jordan's sudden animosity towards him. Clearly, trouble brews for Spencer! Coop steps in, advising him to backtrack his steps to unearth his forgotten memories. Together, they venture to the club, probing the lost and found.

There, vivid recollections flood back—Olivia presenting him with the gift amidst a flurry of shots. He also recalls catching a news bulletin announcing Jordan Baker as a Heisman Award frontrunner, which stirred his envy and prompted him to order more rounds. Later, Spencer treks to Layla's club, hoping to retrieve something—perhaps Olivia's gift—left behind from the previous night.

At Layla's club, Spencer recollections are filled with warmth as he reminisces about his birthday celebration, surrounded by a joyful camaraderie of friends and family while slicing into his cake. However, the festive mood takes a sudden turn when he finds himself locked in a heated dispute with Asher. The source of their contention? Asher's decision to recruit Wade Walters onto his football team. For those unfamiliar with the previous season's drama, Wade had a notorious history of harassing Olivia and sending thugs after Spencer and Jordan.

Adding fuel to the fire, Spencer finally comes to terms with the reason behind Jordan's anger towards him. It transpires that during the night's festivities, Spencer had playfully shoved a cake into Jordan's face, an action that escalated into a physical altercation.

Seeking to mend fences, Spencer later ventures to Asher's office to apologize for his earlier behavior. Asher, magnanimous as ever, reassures Spencer that all is forgiven and that he harbors no ill will. Wade, who is also present, interjects with a tale of their own supposed altercation. According to Wade's version of events, Spencer bumped into him at the bar the previous night and, in a botched attempt to punch Wade, ended up knocking himself unconscious.

Elsewhere, when Spencer informs Olivia that he has misplaced her gift, she vehemently disagrees. The truth unfolds in a surprising twist—Olivia and Spencer have undergone a bond-strengthening ritual, acquiring matching tattoos as a symbol of their desire to feel closer and more interconnected in their relationship.
