As Anita acclimates to this novel reality, she realizes that she has arrived on the eve of the fifth Festival of Culture. She is slated to deliver a speech and perform a dance to a rendition of "The Ketchup Song." While navigating through surroundings that are both familiar and strangely alien, she crosses paths with Henrique, Fabricio, and an enigmatic mime. However, Anita's mind is preoccupied with deciphering the mystery of how she has skipped forward in time by two months.
Meanwhile, Joel finds himself ensnared in the rippling aftermath of his temporal voyage, his thoughts spiraling into a tempest of bewilderment and disorganization. At first, he mistakes his disorientation for the hazy veil of intoxication. Yet, upon glimpsing Fabricio, the stark reality strikes him like a lightning bolt: he has been thrust back to that pivotal day where he publicly suffered ignominy during a magic trick at the Festival of Culture.
