Bad Influencer – Season 1 Episode 7

Published: Dec 04 2025

Bad Influencer cunningly finds itself in a position where the stakes for the grand finale are crystal clear. BK and Pinky are tasked with crafting 130 fake designer bags to be showcased at a lavish event organized by Moghel Slay in collaboration with Montcler. Success would mean salvation from Bra Flames' wrath and, for an added bonus, provide the police with enough evidence to bring down the entire operation, thereby securing their promised immunity. A walk in the park, right? Not quite.

Bad Influencer – Season 1 Episode 7 1

Episode 7 unfolds like a series of calamities, reminding us that crime, even when it seemingly pays off, never truly pays. BK must navigate a tightrope of tailoring to get the bags done, but even her terrified workforce can't meet the demand in the given timeframe without compromising on quality. So, they settle for making the bags look authentic from the outside. Meanwhile, Pinky and Lelz are on a mission to convince Pierre Montcler of the bags' authenticity, even after another scandal breaks on social media.

The event, framed as a live auction aimed at "freeing" owners from their toxic relationships with their blessers, seems to be going off without a hitch until Naomi arrives. Invited by Pierre without anyone's knowledge, she brings an authentication expert who declares the bags fake, setting off a chain reaction of chaos. Bids dry up immediately, and Pinky creates a distraction by throwing a drink in Naomi's face and leading her on a slapstick chase through the building that ends in a fight. Alex eventually intervenes, holding Naomi at gunpoint until she publicly retracts her accusations.

But even that isn't enough. BK is forced to remove her mask and deliver an impassioned anti-influencer speech that somehow manages to turn the tide and drive the bids back up. The money is made, but it's not quite a victory yet.

At the hospital, Kofi's eyes alight upon the heavily armed police guarding Leo, a clear indication that the others have forged an alliance with the law. Seizing the opportunity, he snatches Leo from their grasp, while Alex seizes BK as a hostage, promising to accompany her on a mission to deliver the money to Bra Flames. Should the police follow too closely, Alex's fate would be sealed, along with Leo's.

Themba, now fully aware of the police's betrayal in their bid for immunity, sets out in pursuit of Leo. His relentless tracking leads him to Kofi's lair, where he manages to rescue Leo at the cost of Kofi's life. Despite Leo's safety, BK remains in perilous waters, having cleverly shucked off the police tail on her way to the meeting.

Themba sends a message to BK, informing her of Leo's safety. Emboldened by this news, she concocts another plan to save herself. She tells Bra Flames that Alex promised to turn her in to the police, and that they were on their way to do so. Bheki springs into action, killing Alex and almost ending BK's life too, but the timely arrival of the police forces Flames and his henchmen to flee.

BK is arrested and, due to her lack of immunity, is sentenced to two years in prison. Despite Themba's warning that she isn't safe within the walls of the prison, BK's real danger lies elsewhere - in Flames' manipulative hand. As "Bad Influencer" draws to a close, we see BK in her cell, receiving a chilling reminder of her new allegiance: a picture of Leo sent by Flames. It seems her hopes of an early release for good behavior have been dashed.
