Upon Mallory's arrival, the scene greeted her with unexpected surprise, as the shattering of a window failed to alert anyone nearby or among the hotel staff. Unfazed, she's handed a room key and ascends to find chaos awaiting her and Roy, miraculously still breathing, though precariously perched on a lower balcony. Despite the dire need for medical assistance, Mallory declines to call an ambulance, preferring to handle the situation discreetly within their circle.

Mallory orchestrates a stealthy evacuation, with Calvin at the wheel, transporting Roy to the hospital. They steer clear of suspicion, navigating through the fire exit and into the underground garage where Mallory awaits. Together, they speed off to the private wing of the hospital, a property owned by her family.

Meanwhile, Charles stirs up trouble at the strip club, while Angel embarks on a search that leads her straight to Sylvie, who coincidentally finds herself at the same club. However, Sylvie's state is alarming; she's visibly under the influence of drugs, rendering Angel's attempts to communicate with Kimmie futile.

In a dramatic turn, Kimmie bursts into the hospital, seeking Horace and demanding to know Sylvie's whereabouts. Despite her own precarious situation, her demands ring hollow. Horace, acknowledging her tenacity and resourcefulness, reveals that he was recently enlightened about Norman and Jules' clandestine operations. In a gesture of goodwill, he extends an olive branch—a chance for Kimmie to return to her normal life while he delves into the matter for her.

As a swift reminder for all present, consider this: Kimmie has taken two lives, attempted to snuff out a third, and indulged in grand larceny of an automobile—yet she expects life to resume as usual? Unbeknownst to her, Kimmie confesses to Horace her deadly deed of pushing Roy out the window mere hours prior. However, her revelation takes an unexpected turn when Horace learns from the doctor that Roy miraculously survives, hospitalized in the next room.

Horace storms in to confront Roy, his disdain palpable. Words flow like venom as he unloads his true feelings onto Roy. His anger spirals, culminating in a physical altercation where Horace beats Roy with his cane until the latter, goaded beyond endurance, bites back with venomous words of his own, eagerly anticipating Horace's demise. As Horace exits, he vows that Roy will come to regret his words.

Elsewhere, Rain shows signs of recovery, her voice barely above a whisper as she urges Kimmie to place her trust in Horace, believing he holds the key to their salvation. Drifting back into slumber, Rain's unattended phone beckons Kimmie, who discovers a message from Angel revealing Sylvie's whereabouts. In a rush, Kimmie returns the call, instructing Angel to extricate Sylvie from her hiding place in the closet. Yet, time is of the essence, and Kimmie speeds towards her sister.

Meanwhile, Felicia and Jules' corrupt officers catch wind of Angel's plan, sparking a mini-brawl within the club's confines. The tension escalates dramatically when Angel is cornered and forced onto the stage, leaving the entire episode teetering on the edge of a cliffhanger—or, perhaps more aptly given the setting, a stripper's pole.
