Episode 5 of *Beauty & Black* Season 2 kicks off with Horace arriving just in time to intercept Kimmie, Sylvie, and Rain as they attempt to make a hasty escape in their car. Back inside the mansion, Angel spills the beans on everything that has transpired since his arrest. Horace is taken aback to discover that Kimmie had been planning to flee due to a lack of trust in him, and he stubbornly refuses to engage in any conversation with her.
Meanwhile, Olivia rings Roy up to drop a bombshell: Mallory had been seen canoodling with Varney. Roy, in turn, informs his mother that Varney was actually with Charlie, and the two were involved in a romantic liaison. Olivia finds this revelation rather hard to swallow.
On another front, Rain enlists Alex's help to drive her to the club. Simultaneously, Mallory persuades Varney to chauffeur her to Charles's house, which happens to be just a stone's throw away. Varney is apprehensive about Horace catching wind of this, but Mallory coaxes him into staying over. Inside, Roy confronts Mallory about Olivia's comment regarding her and Varney.
As Mallory heads to the shower, Roy sneaks up behind her, attempting to flirt. She responds with mockery and swiftly shuts down Roy's advances. Undeterred, Roy decides to head to the strip club in search of some company. Meanwhile, Dustin is hanging out with Charles when Olivia calls him, inquiring about his relationship with Varney. Charles, however, tries to brush off his mother's questions.
Back at the mansion, Angel is taken aback to learn how Kimmie managed to infiltrate Horace's inner circle and the fact that she is now married to Horace. Kimmie clarifies that her marriage to Horace is purely strategic, aimed at seizing control of his empire, devoid of any romantic or sexual undertones.
Kimmie implores Angel to stand by Horace in his final days, offering him romantic companionship as the man faces his mortality. Angel is initially reluctant, but their discussion is abruptly cut short when Horace summons Kimmie for a chat.
Elsewhere, Alex drops Rain off at the strip club, where Felicia compliments Rain on her new BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift). Curious, Rain inquires about Daga and is shocked to learn that Shake Shake has been persuading the strippers to undergo illegal BBL surgeries as a substitute for legitimate body enhancements.
Rain pulls the female stripper aside for a private conversation, vowing to accompany her to the clinic later that very night. In his room, Horace confides in Kimmie, emphasizing that for their scheme to succeed, she must place her trust in him. He lauds her intelligence and capability, the very reasons he selected her as his successor.
Kimmie confesses her fear after learning about Angel. Horace instructs her to brace herself for Sylvie's imminent relocation, deeming her a risk to their intricate plot. He elucidates that she, Angel, and Rain are shielded under his power of attorney, but Sylvie falls outside that protective umbrella.
Horace extends an invitation to Kimmie and the others for a farewell breakfast before he embarks on his treatment journey. He bestows upon Kimmie a ledger brimming with crucial details that could aid her in the office the next day. As Horace and Kimmie delve into business matters, Roy arrives at the club, on the hunt for a stripper. He handpicks a few ladies and escorts them to a secluded room.
Meanwhile, Dustin enlists Andy's aid in pilfering items from Charles' residence. Upon arrival, Dustin is taken aback by the sight of Varney. A heated exchange ensues between the two as Dustin seizes the opportunity to survey Charles' prized possessions. Charles accuses Varney of trespassing on his privacy without consent and promptly ejects him.
Dustin diverts Charles' attention with some drugs and inquires whether Varney is still lurking within the house. Elsewhere, Felicia keeps Roy entertained in the private room alongside two other women. Rain enlists Alex's help to guide her to the hotel room where the stripper is scheduled to rendezvous with the rogue surgeon, revealed to be none other than Daga.
Enraged, Rain resolves to exact vengeance on Daga for marring her body. Alex offers to eliminate Daga on her behalf, but Rain asserts her autonomy, insisting she's more than capable of battling her own demons.
The episode concludes with Rain and Alex arriving at the motel room, where Daga, Shake Shake, and the stripper await.
